Episode 8 Guernsey Woes
You can view Episode 8 of Knitting Dish here.
I’m still having problems with getting the video podcast on ITunes. It seems to be a problem with my hostserver and the way I down load the episodes via my Google account. It looks like it will stay this way until I can upgrade my blog site to incorporate a direct down load to ITunes. This might be a while…sorry for the inconvenience. I truly appreciate you all popping over here to view. Thank you!

Leftovers (UFOs)
This new leftover section will be where I discuss something I’ve dug out of my UFO (UnFinished Object) pile. These are projects I have started several days, weeks, months or even years ago! There is a decent size pile. I’d like to get through it before the end of the year. Wish me goodluck!
Today’s leftover: Entrelac Scarf, Knit Picks Chroma Worsted, Bittersweet Heather, New England
I am doing a plain Entrelac row with the Bittersweet Heather (dark brown) and a leaf
patterned row using the multi-colored New England.

Events
Mitten KAL – Knit a pair of mittens for The Maine Mitten Project or your own local charity. Chat about them on the Mitten KAL chatter thread at the Knitting Dish Ravelry group. Then post a picture of your finished mittens on the Mitten KAL FO thread. (rules: the mittens you make are for a charity, you must be a member of the Knitting Dish Ravelry group) All entries in the FO thread must be posted by Sunday, September 1, 2013 (or before the thread is locked sometime very soon thereafter). I will use a random number generator to choose the winning entry #. The winner will receive a single downloadable (mitten) pattern of their choice on Ravelry.
