A busy week has included a trip to the Stone Zoo to see the new Koala exhibit, a birthday (now I have 3 teenagers in my house!), a trip to Maine and a spinning class. Fret not, there was also a lot of knitting 🙂

This final week we spun samples of: wool/mohair/bamboo, wool/soy silk, Merino/silk, alpaca, merino/angora and angora. I spun all my samples on one spool on my wheel then used the Andean plying method to remove each one and ply on my drop spindle. There is a free ebook available at Spinning Daily here
